Education Centre

Our education Centre was built alongside Hosanna Children's Home soon after the home was completed.

The aim of the centre is to enhance the education that the children receive from the local schools.  Many of the youngsters have travelled to Yangon from remote areas of Myanmar and haven't had any education at all so they have a lot of catching up to do!

Teachers are employed to run after-school classes and we have also started lessons in music, computing and tailoring.  They have been so successful that we have been able to offer extra lessons for children from the local community.

We named the building "The Ben White Education Centre" after one of our founding trustees and the inspiration for the work we do in Asia.
